Sorry for the long delay in updates and PODs, had a tough time logging in, Tripod wouldn't take my password.
Anyway, I just moved around the POD Archive pages, divided it up, am trying to find a way to make it easier to navigate. Not really working because it would take a lot of tedious work to type out a link to all of them and put them on one page. I dunno, I still gotta think about it some. Oh, and oooh...yet another reply on the message board... 3-12-01 Monday
Yeah, yeah, so I skipped a day of pics. I never said this was going to be a daily thing...just, um, ignore that "of the *day*" part of the title. I slept all yesterday. I got up at around 1 or 2pm. I went to sleep a few hours later and slept till 9 or 10 at night. I'm still sick. :-p
I made the purple journal entry thing a link, after a suggestion by, I think, Akoaraisin. Oh, and oooh...there are replies on the message board... 3-10-01 Saturday
Did various and sundry updates and fixed things here and there. I finally figured out how my new counter is supposed to work...I'm supposed to put it on every page of my site, because it counts site visits, and not just page views/hits. So I spent some of my time putting it on each page, but I still have a few more random pages here and there left to go.
Also, augh! Apparently, according to my site tracker/counter someone came to my site with Netscape 3.x...and Netscape that low doesn't support style sheets...and my god, I know how awful my page looks without style sheets...oh dear. 3-8-01 Thursday

As you can see, Sandra did a minor revision of this main page. Changed the layout, added a search engine, got a new counter (it allows me to block my own IP address, so all these page reloads aren't artificially inflating my numbers), took off the link to the "Things" section from the navigation bar to the right. It's still linked from other places, but just not the main page. I finally created the POD archive page, so updates and PODs can be archived separately now. The change I'm not too happy with is I added that stupid scrolling thing at the top that tells people when I have a new journal entry. I don't know about that. I might take it out, I might not. It's not a script, I have to change it by hand, so it may get to be a pain. Nifty site to visit: See if your Kiersey/Myers-Brigg's corresponds with your astrological type, etc. Mine doesn't.

2-28-01 WednesdayNOTE: Anybody who links to my page...please link to it using something like "Sandra's Little Corner of the World" for a name, rather than just saying Sandra's page or something. Thanks.Oh my. Two weeks since the last update and I'm still too lazy to put up a picture. Actually, that's not really true. See, I want to put up a pic from Engrish.com, but I've not found the perfect one yet. So I'll just do this little update. The other thing is that I've found putting links on the first page like this leads some people to escape from my HTML-clutches before I've even got a firm hold on them. So yeah, I'm debating this at the moment. Anyway, I've also found that, hurrah hurrah, I finally show up on Google. Yay. Okay, so you gotta type in the whole "Sandra's Little Corner" to get my site, but close enough. Netscape's Website Garage has been showing be a LOT of links from Google lately. Apparently, because of my little run of Final Fantasy PODs (pics of the day), I'm showing up on searches for "Final Fantasy"! And of course, there are TONS of those. So THAT'S where I'm getting all those hits. Okay. You have to put "Final Fantasy" and something else though. Just putting Final Fantasy in probably will take you a while to find my site. So, updates, Sandra? Where might they be? In my journal entries, of course. I update my journal even when I don't update this page, so I was thinking maybe I should just put my journal on this first page here, you know? What do you think? Also, I updated the family portion of my People page. Also, I updated my autobiography in the Me section, but it's just a minor change to make something current. Today is Howard's birthday. Happy Birthday, Howard. Also, Mariana's birthday is this Saturday. I know she doesn't come to my site, but happy birthday to her anyway. Oh, and actually, I found a couple other good PODs just now, sitting here. Funny ones. But I think we'll leave it alone for now. And oh God, I had my 1000th hit somewhere along all this refreshing to make sure my page looked okay, and I didn't even catch it. Oh well. 2-14-01 Wednesday O'Reilly Cover of the DayI've been rather addicted to User Friendly these past couple of days, but you have to pay to use their comic strips, of course, and it's REEEAALLY expensive, so I guess I'll just use a cover of one of the book compilations they have. This is Pitr's guidebook to life. Evil Geniuses. Hehehe. Guess I am going to update, huh? Have added a lot of journal entries in the interim between my last update. Have started work on the "people" page, so check that. Not anywhere close to finished, but I have a lot done anyhow. Added tons of links and a little table of contents to the links page. Oh and check out the latest User Friendly. They have *GASP!* animation now! Woohoo! I always wondered what their voices would sound like. I like AJ's voice okay, but I kind of don't like Mike's, and I thought Stef would sound less manly and more whiny. And I don't like Miranda's accent at all. :-p Yick. 2-6-01 Tuesday

Okay, maybe it's not really the last, last pic of the day, but I'm not gonna be changing it each time I update, so it's sort of a last one. Got this from Jesus's website. Go take a look. Note to y'all. I'm gonna be updating my journal more frequently, but not necessarily updating this page, because it's a pain. I always wanna write in my journal all the time, but I wouldn't want to update several times a day, and since my rule is, new picture each time I update, regardless of whether it's been a day, or more or less,...well, that'd be a heck of a pain to find a new picture each time. Donut-Related Dilbert Strip of the Day Too much donut on the brain for Sandra. I've been falling asleep thinking about donuts for the past three days. Hiyos. Updated with a journal entry. I wish I could update more frequently, but it's hella hard, because my Bud is too slow for me to efficiently do pretty much anything. Disgusting Depiction of Delicious Food of the Day Spam musubi is gooood stuff. This drawing makes it look very unappetizing. See that stuff dripping off the spam, onto the rice? Presumably, that's sauce from the spam, but it looks more like...well, I dunno what it looks like. I don't wanna think about it. Added a journal entry. My POD for today is stupid and weird because I'm using the incredibly slow Bud. I updated the journal, but couldn't think of a POD to go along with my update. I sat on it for a day, and then decided to just use whatever weird pic I had uploaded long ago, which was this spam musubi. So that's the story of our pic of the day, ladies and gents. The last card you'll ever need...(thanks to Akoaraisin) Yes, 'tis true. After disappearing for nearly two weeks, the Waffle is finally back for more waffle action on her waffling site. Well, that, and because checking the stats just now and seeing the some poor web surfer coming to my site nearly everyday (and I know it's not my own hits, because the majority of hits weren't from Macs) from the same ISP (well, it could be several people with the same ISP, each only visiting once, but oh well), I felt really bad. Big news of the day, or week, month, century, etc.: Ruby, whom *I* hereby proclaim the niftiest personal homepage webmaster in the universe (visit her page!), has proclaimed Sandra's Little Corner as the niftiest personal site in the universe! Yay! I'm honored and elated and bouncing around with joy in my little corner here. I'd like to thank <whips out list> my mom and my dad and my pet fish Spike, who went for many a long and lonely night, hungry, as I worked on my site instead of feeding him supper, I'd like to thank my agent and my publicist and my personal trainer, and most of all, I'd like to thank the Academy....oops, wrong award.
